   Oui, ne pas oublier ça non plus ! L’excellente revue L’Histoire a beaucoup publié sur le stalinisme et en particulier sur la grande famine ukrainienne (sans oublier le Caucase du Nord et le Kazakhstan) . Lire notamment l’article de Nicolas Werth dans un numéro récent : « Comment Staline a affamé l’Ukraine » >

   « HOLODOMORE » pourtant un joli mot plein de menaces de terreurs et de secrets. Images terribles qui collent à notre « humanité » depuis … Cris, coups, désespoir, hurlements, horreur surgissent de la bande sonore. Encore du beau boulot !

   Je ne connaissais pas cette terrible période de l’histoire , cela ne m’étonne pas de ce dictateur fou qu’était Staline , et toujours les enfants , et toujours les enfants que l’on affament, qui meurent dans une totale indifférence ……

   Un acte de barbarie à grande échelle que peu de gens connaissent Soljenitsyne le décrit dans « L’archipel du goulag », si je me souviens bien, car cette lecture date de plusieurs décennies, avec « Le chêne et le veau ».. et « Une journée d’Yvan Dénissovitch ».
   Au PC, à l’époque, comme beaucoup de profs, je me suis heurté à un mur, au déni…
   Alors, j’ai quitté le parti..
   Il y a aussi cette terrible déportation abandon de « l’ïle aux cannibales », dont après quelques recherches, je viens de retrouver le documentaire en streaming (un miracle):

   I am very interested in this piece of history, specifically how could such a good idea by Marx and Engels and brought to reality by Lenin et al – how could this wonderful ideology of lifting up the peasants and giving them a better life – how did it all go so wrong? I have read Vol I & II of The Gulag Archipelago and one biography of Stalin. I have a little more understanding now, especially in addition to reading up a lot on the Communist efforts and tragedies in China, VietNam and Cambodia especially. Dictators always end up devouring everything. I will be looking for this film to watch.

     They never cared about the people. Stalin, Hitler, Lenin and many others had only one ambition: to normalize their neurosis or phobias. It is in this sense that they have always had the phobia of intellectuals who did not need much time to understand their strategies and reveal their mediocrity… You have to see this film, which shows that there are also destructive phobias in democracies.
