et poss\u00e8de le label de Plus beau village de France. Le mieux est de d\u00e9couvrir Roussillon un matin ensoleill\u00e9 par l&rsquo;Est, soit en arrivant par la route de Saint-Saturnin-l\u00e8s-Apt, la vue est alors magique, le village apparaissant au sommet d&rsquo;une colline abrupte et ses teintes rouges sont aviv\u00e9es par le soleil ; soit par la route de Goult, o\u00f9 le rouge de l&rsquo;ocre appara\u00eet petit \u00e0 petit au milieu des pin\u00e8des pour d&rsquo;un seul coup envahir tout le paysage. Plusieurs parkings \u00e0 la p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie permettent de limiter le nombre de voiture dans le centre du village.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">La sinueuse rue centrale, qui conduit au sommet du village, est bord\u00e9e de galeries d&rsquo;art, de boutiques de produits proven\u00e7aux et de jolies maisons des xviie et xviiie si\u00e8cles. En 1790, il re\u00e7ut l&rsquo;aval du nouveau conseil municipal pour utiliser le moulin \u00e0 huile du village. Cette p\u00e9riode r\u00e9volutionnaire, n&#8217;emp\u00eacha pas ses affaires de fructifier. En 1810, il fait fonctionner deux usines \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 du village et une fabrique dans Roussillon m\u00eame10.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Si l&rsquo;ocre n&rsquo;est plus exploit\u00e9e sur la commune, son sentier des Ocres attire des milliers de touristes. Comme l&rsquo;ensemble des communes du Luberon, le tourisme joue un r\u00f4le, directement ou indirectement, dans l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie locale. H\u00f4tels, g\u00eetes, chambres d&rsquo;h\u00f4tes, camping, centres \u00e9questres, etc. Les vari\u00e9t\u00e9s d&rsquo;ocres et les couleurs ont su susciter l&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eat des artistes comme des touristes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u00c0 quelques centaines de m\u00e8tres du c\u0153ur du village, c\u00f4t\u00e9 sud-est, ne pas manquer le sentier des ocres (payant), dont les teintes vont du jaune au violet.
