font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">En 1914, n\u2019ayant pris qu\u2019une seule photographie, Madame Yevonde d\u00e9cide de cr\u00e9er son propre studio et, au fil des ans, acquis un style unique ainsi qu\u2019un nom dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 londonienne, en tant portraitiste.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">En 1921, elle\u00a0pr\u00e9sente son travail \u00e0 l\u2019exposition annuelle de la Royal Photographic Society et a parall\u00e8lement d\u00e9m\u00e9nage dans un plus grand studio.\u00a0Elle commence, alors, \u00e0 travailler pour la publicit\u00e9.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Mais\u00a0la photographie en noir et blanc ne lui suffisait plus.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Elle entreprend d\u2019exp\u00e9rimenter la couleur avec l\u2019innovant proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00ab<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vivex\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Vivex Color<\/a> <a href=\"#vivex\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/a>\u00bb invent\u00e9 par le Dr. <a href=\"https:\/\/collection.sciencemuseumgroup.org.uk\/people\/cp57528\/douglas-arthur-spencer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Douglas Arthur Spencer<\/a> (1901 &#8211; 1979). <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">A<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u00a0cette \u00e9poque, ses coll\u00e8gues photographes et le grand public trouvaient que la couleur photographique \u00e9tait inacceptable et m\u00eame contre nature. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Ils demeuraient fortement hostiles \u00e0 son nouveau travail. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Yevonde s\u2019est alors donn\u00e9 pour mission de convertir ce public \u00ab daltonien \u00bb et qu\u2019il reconsid\u00e8re positivement la couleur.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;
