style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><em>\u00c0 la suite de notre enqu\u00eate sur \u00ab Ces grands chantiers qui attendent la rade \u00bb (lire notre \u00e9dition Grand Toulon, d&rsquo;hier), nous nous sommes pench\u00e9s sur le cas du \u00abm\u00f4le des torpilles\u00bb.<\/em><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><em>Au nord de la jet\u00e9e, marquant l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e de la petite passe, son look de blockhaus sur pilotis tranche avec la beaut\u00e9 des criques de la Mitre ou l&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9gance de la tour Royale. Doux euph\u00e9misme : le \u00abm\u00f4le des torpilles\u00bb n&rsquo;est pas ce qui se fait de plus esth\u00e9tique sur les c\u00f4tes toulonnaises. Il n&rsquo;a gu\u00e8re, finalement, que le m\u00e9rite d&rsquo;interloquer les touristes qui osent s&rsquo;en approcher.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><em>Mais la D\u00e9fense s&rsquo;en lave les mains. Cette verrue d\u00e9saffect\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 c\u00e9d\u00e9e \u00e0 TPM au printemps 2010 en m\u00eame temps que la plage de Pipady. L&rsquo;arm\u00e9e n&rsquo;en avait plus l&rsquo;usage\u2026 Depuis trente ans, p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 elle \u00e9tait encore utilis\u00e9e comme centre d&rsquo;essais de mise \u00e0 l&rsquo;eau des torpilles. Quant aux derniers appareils de mesure magn\u00e9tique en service r\u00e9cemment, ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9s dans les <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"M\u00f4le des Torpilles\" src=\"https:\/\/frank-lovisolo.fr\/ImagesWPannexe\/moletorpilles\/Le M\u00f4le des torpilles 004.jpg\" alt=\"M\u00f4le des Torpilles\" width=\"459\" height=\"211\" \/>b\u00e2timents de la Direction g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de l&rsquo;armement (DGA), sur la colline de la Mitre. En fait, seuls les plaisanciers s&rsquo;en servent encore pour ajuster leur mire en arrivant dans la rade des Vignettes.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><em>Son avenir reste ind\u00e9cis.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><em>Qu&rsquo;attend donc la collectivit\u00e9 pour d\u00e9truire ce gros cube gris construit avant-guerre ? Des sous, sans doute. Et le feu vert de la pr\u00e9fecture maritime. Mais pas seulement. Plusieurs avant-projets de r\u00e9habilitation du site se sont aussi murmur\u00e9s dans les bureaux de la mairie ou ceux de l&rsquo;arsenal, comme ceux d&rsquo;y r\u00e9aliser un \u00ab restaurant \u00bb, un \u00abmus\u00e9e de la mer\u00bb ou encore une \u00abvigie portuaire\u00bb. Forc\u00e9ment ambitieux. Sauf que les difficult\u00e9s techniques seraient nombreuses. \u00c0 commencer par celles induites par le p\u00e9rim\u00e8tre de protection restrictif de la tour Royale, class\u00e9e monument historique.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><em>Une chose est s\u00fbre, le maire et pr\u00e9sident d&rsquo;agglom\u00e9ration Hubert Falco n&rsquo;entendrait pas laisser ce bloc de b\u00e9ton trop longtemps livr\u00e9 aux gloussements des estivants : \u00abNous avons d\u00e9truit la prison, nous d\u00e9truirons bien ce b\u00e2timent \u00bb, avait-il affirm\u00e9 l&rsquo;an pass\u00e9. Son emplacement g\u00e9ographique lui assure le pied marin et une vue fantastique sur la rade.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">L\u2019architecture du b\u00e2timent, proche du\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/frank-lovisolo.fr\/WordPress\/brutalisme-les-boites-outils\/\">brutalisme<\/a>, est purement fonctionnelle. On retrouve dans la construction de la\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tour_royale\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tour Royale<\/a>, avec une plus ancienne ing\u00e9nierie, ce d\u00e9sir de fonctionnalit\u00e9.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">L\u2019\u00e9puration, pratiquement au trait, du M\u00f4le des Torpilles lui octroie une singuli\u00e8re \u00e9l\u00e9gance quand la mer, le ciel et la terre s\u2019emm\u00ealent. Cette beaut\u00e9 laisse imaginer, si r\u00e9habilitation il y avait, le possible d\u2019une r\u00e9alisation magnifique.<\/span><\/div>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span
